Common Questions
WHAT IS PERMANENT JEWELRY?
Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit piece that is seamlessly welded in place, creating a clasp-free design. Because there is no clasp, it is designed to be worn continuously until you choose to remove it.
DOES IT HURT?
No. You will not feel anything. Once your piece is fitted, it is closed with a seamless weld. The process is simple and fast.
WHAT IF IT BREAKS OR NEEDS TO BE REMOVED?
If your piece breaks at the weld or needs to be removed, simply bring your jewelry back in and we’ll gladly provide a complimentary reweld. If removing your jewelry, please cut at the jump ring rather than the chain. If the chain stretches, breaks, or separates due to wear, snagging, or excessive force, reweld services are available for $15 per piece. Replacement chain, if needed, will be charged accordingly.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The longest part is selecting your chain. The welding itself is quick. We reserve 30-minute appointments for each guest to give you time to choose and have your piece fitted.
WHAT IF I LOSE IT?
While we’re not responsible for lost jewelry, if you find your chain, you’re welcome to book an appointment and we’ll reweld it for you.
HOW LONG DOES PERMANENT JEWELRY LAST?
Your jewelry is designed for long-term wear with proper care. How long it lasts will depend on your chain selection and daily lifestyle. As a delicate metal, it should be treated with care.
CAN KIDS GET PERMANENT JEWELRY?
Yes! Permanent jewelry is available for guests ages 12 and older with a parent or guardian present. For children under 12, we’re happy to add a clasp to their bracelet or anklet instead of welding it for added safety.
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
We use 14k gold filled, 14k rose gold filled, and .925 sterling silver, chosen for their quality and longevity. We do not use plated jewelry.
